Before diving into specific questions, Emily Marshall, PHom — our clinical lead and one of the most experienced TT‑1 users — has made a full video walkthrough of the instrument. If you're new to TT‑1 or just getting oriented, this is the best place to start.
Before anything else: many issues are fixed by a simple refresh. If something looks or behaves unexpectedly, try fully refreshing the page first. This resolves a surprising number of one-off issues and is always worth trying before digging further.
Saving & Client Management
These are two different options. Save Client File downloads a file to your own computer only — completely private, nothing is ever sent to us. Save to Account stores the client's photo and info on our servers instead, so that client shows up on any device you log into, including mobile. Worth knowing this distinction, especially for anything privacy-sensitive.
Saving means you don't have to re-enter a client's info each time, and it's also what preserves their dedicated session history beyond the app's main rolling log. To see a saved client's full history, load them back in (from a file or from your account) and click the HISTORY button that appears once they're loaded.
Every broadcast is automatically recorded in the main Broadcast Log the moment it finishes, whether you save the client or not. Saving is what creates a durable, client-specific record you can pull up any time later — especially useful since the main log only keeps a limited number of recent broadcasts across all clients. We'd suggest saving periodically for clients you see regularly, rather than needing to do it after every single session.
No — these are two completely separate, manual actions. Saving locally doesn't update your Account copy, and saving to your Account doesn't create or update a local file. Each needs its own save whenever you want that copy current.
Not currently through the app. This is something we're planning to add.
Yes. When you run a broadcast again from the log, TT‑1 pulls the witness name and the previously computed rate directly from that log entry and uses them, without needing you to reload and confirm that witness in the main panel first. You'll see "BROADCASTING TO [name]" on screen using the witness from that record, and the signal broadcast is exactly the same one that was originally created for them. Nothing about the actual broadcast depends on having that witness actively loaded at the moment you click Run Again.
No — Reset All permanently wipes your entire broadcast log across every client you've ever worked with, not just the current one, which is why it asks you to confirm before doing it. To load a new client after finishing with someone, use "Clear Witness" instead. That clears only the person currently loaded, leaving all your saved history and other clients completely untouched.
No, this is optional. You can go straight to LOAD CLIENT FILE or LOAD FROM ACCOUNT at any time, even while another witness is currently active — TT‑1 automatically clears the previous witness's data before loading the new one, so there's no risk of the two clients' information mixing together. Clear Witness is still useful if you simply want to end a session without loading anyone new right away, but it isn't a required step before switching clients.
One thing worth knowing: loading a new client replaces whatever is currently on screen, so if you have unsaved work from your current client (a broadcast you want recorded in their history, edited notes, etc.), save it first using Save Client File or Save to Account before switching.
Broadcasting
Yes. TT‑1 can only broadcast one thing at a time, so if two are scheduled for the exact same moment, the first will start right on time and the second will begin automatically as soon as the first finishes — just delayed by however long that first broadcast runs. No information is lost either way. If either broadcast is a recurring one rather than one-time, we'd recommend a few minutes of separation between them rather than the exact same time.
Yes, but the way you do this matters. Running two broadcasts in two tabs of the same browser at the same time isn't currently safe, since it can cause one broadcast's history to overwrite the other's. Using two separate browsers instead (for example, Chrome for one client and Safari or Firefox for the other) works cleanly, with each keeping its own accurate record.
It simply dismisses the broadcast summary screen without changing anything else. The witness stays loaded and nothing resets — it's there for when you want to close that screen and decide your own next step.
Remedies & the Remedy Library
Search for a remedy, select it, and you'll see three options: Load Single, Save as Set, and Add to Basket. Clicking Add to Basket for each remedy you want builds up your combination. Once everything you want is in the basket, switch to the Basket tab to broadcast or save the whole combination together.
This isn't a bug, it's how the Basket is designed to work. Since the Basket is meant for combining two or more things together, it requires either two or more remedies, or one remedy plus a chakra focus (which counts as a second ingredient in the combination). If you're working with just a single remedy on its own — no combination needed — use the regular search and Load Single option instead. No chakra required there at all. Save the Basket for when you actually want to combine two or more things into one broadcast.
TT‑1 has a large collection of individual gemstone remedies (Amethyst, Aquamarine, Moonstone, Rose Quartz, and many others), but they aren't grouped under a "Crystal" category. Search by the specific gemstone name instead.
Yes. There's a dedicated Fibonacci tab in the potency selector, letting you apply Fibonacci-sequence potencies to any remedy you select.
Yes. When you select Streptococcus Pyogenes-Tilch, TT‑1 shows a dedicated potency panel with all nine levels of the Ehler formula (10C through 10077.7M), including levels beyond what any physical device can reach. There's also an option to select from the full LM series (LM1 through LM60) for practitioners who work with Strep Tilch in LM potencies.
SPACH Skin Mix is a preset combination remedy in the library — a fixed 3X blend of Symphytum, Plantago, Arnica, Calendula, and Hypericum. There's also an expanded version, SPPACHH, which adds Phytolacca and Hydrastis to that same base.
No — the Banerji Protocols library is built specifically for TT‑1 and doesn't transfer to other instruments.
Acoustic Imprint
Yes, using the Acoustic Imprint feature. You place a bottle on a speaker, and TT‑1 imprints the specific frequency pattern for that remedy onto it, similar to how the Vitalis works.
TT‑1 has a Clear Bottle option specifically for this. It runs a short clearing tone to reset the bottle so you can reuse it, rather than needing a fresh bottle every time. You'll find it in the hardware bar at the bottom of the instrument, and it also appears as an option once you're inside Acoustic Imprint mode.
That confirmation note was added to the app at a certain point, not from the very beginning, so broadcasts logged before that update won't show it. This isn't a sign anything went wrong with those earlier sessions.
Troubleshooting
Nothing — this is expected, not an error. The files TT‑1 saves (with a .tt1 extension) aren't meant to be opened directly on your computer the way a PDF or photo would be, so a message like "no application set to open this file" is normal. There's no separate application to look for.
Instead, that file is meant to be loaded back into TT‑1 itself. When you're ready to bring that client or remedy back up, use the "LOAD CLIENT FILE" button inside TT‑1 and select the downloaded file. Saving creates the file for safekeeping; loading is how you bring it back into the app. You'll never need to open it any other way.
A few things to check, in order:
- Look for a "MUTE ALL SOUND" button, which appears during an active broadcast — if it's engaged, click it once to unmute.
- Check your browser tab for a small speaker/mute icon (most browsers show this) — a tab can get muted separately from your system volume.
- If using headphones, especially Bluetooth ones, try disconnecting and reconnecting, or try your computer's built-in speakers.
- Fully refresh the page and try again.
- If available, try a different browser to see if the issue follows you.
Access & Compatibility
Yes — TT‑1 is a web-based app, and the core rate analysis happens through a server connection, not locally on your device. It does not need to be WiFi specifically, though; a phone hotspot, cellular data, or satellite internet all work fine.
A mobile version is currently in final testing and will be released soon. In the meantime, TT‑1 is available through your desktop or laptop browser.
Yes. Your subscription isn't tied to a single device, so you can log in on as many computers as you'd like. Just go to app.thetwistedtensor.com on the other computer and request a login link the normal way, using the same email you always use. One thing worth knowing: being logged in on one computer doesn't carry over to another automatically, even if it's the same browser, so you'll need to log in separately on each device you use.
No. Once you log in, TT‑1 keeps you logged in automatically for about a month, so you shouldn't need a fresh link each time. If you find yourself needing to log in often, it's usually because you're using a private/incognito browser window or clearing your cookies regularly, either of which will log you out each time.
